Department of Public Enterprises (DPE), Ministry of Finance, Government of India, sponsored course on High Impact CSR is tailored to respond to the rapidly evolving CSR landscape in India, for various mid to senior level CSR practitioners from various leading Central Public Sector Enterprises (CPSEs). The curriculum covered the legal and regulatory framework of CSR under the Companies Act, 2013, while also examining emerging trends, policy directions, and innovations in CSR implementation. Expert-led classroom sessions are complemented by immersive field visits, enabling participants to observe on-ground CSR initiatives and engage directly with implementing agencies and community stakeholders. These experiential components reinforced the importance of contextual understanding, community participation, and outcome-oriented project design. The programme emphasises the need for CSR to move beyond compliance-driven spending and evolve into a strategic, impact-focused function and holistic project execution aligned with national development priorities and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
